Service for Mrs. Waneika Leshawnde Evans, 49, of Lexington, South Carolina will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 1908 Wilkinson Street Cayce, South Carolina. Mrs. Evans will lie in-state on Tuesday, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the church, viewing will be held on Monday from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina.  Born in Lexington County the daughter of Mrs. Dabbie Rhodes and the late Mr. Allen Jones on February 1, 1976. She was a member of the Brookland Baptist Church. She is survived and cherish by her husband, Chad Eric Evans of Lexington, SC; sons Deviante McElven Black of Columbia, SC; Kenny Andrews Simmons, Jr. of Cayce, SC; one daughter, Symone Evans of West Columbia, SC; and five grandchildren and three sisters, Shelia Pardubsri of Lexington, SC; Missy Rhodes of Columbia, SC; Bridget Odom of Eastover, SC; two brothers, Darrell Rhodes and Demetric Middleton both of Columbia, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
