Torrey Keith Oswell

Funeral services for Master Torrey Keith Oswell, aka TJ, TKO, and most notably, Superman, was born on July 17, 2018. will be held on Saturday May 9, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel Columbia, SC with burial in the Mt. Pisgah AME Church Cemetery West Columbia, SC. He earned the name, Superman, from the courage and determination he demonstrated through out each hospitalization. He was strong, happy, and unique baby who, oddly enough, did not enjoy watching cartoons. He preferred to spend his time watching live PD. The last five months of his life he spent in children's Hospital in Charleston, SC, where his determination ti fight and his warm smile captured the hearts of caregivers  and visitors alike. On April 16, TJ was released to his parents and came home to bond with his family. On May 2, 2020, TJ transitioned to be with the Lord. TJ is survived by: his parents, Torrey Oswell (father), Patricia Hinton (mother), five siblings, Alaysia (Walterboro), Latrice (Cookie"), Zaiya, Zoey, and Othello; grandparents, Patricia Green, Daryl Oswell, and Stephanie (Stacey) Sands of Fayetteville, NC; great grandmother, Estelle Green; aunts and uncles, Shirley Furtick, Norman Oswell, Jerry Knox Jr., and Cory Oswell (Also the godfather) of Atlanta, Ga.; godmother, Brianna Brown; and a host of other loving family and friends.
