Graveside services for Mrs. Rosetta Anderson Hydrick 88, of 2214 James Street Cayce, South Carolina, will be held on Monday August 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Southland Memorial Gardens 700 W. Dunbar Road West Columbia, South Carolina. Viewing will be held on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina, there will be a viewing Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home. Mrs. Hydrick , daughter of the late Mr. Joe Anderson and Mrs. Mae Bell Myrick Anderson, was born on November 17, 1932 in Allendale, South Carolina. She departed this life on August 10, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended Allendale County public schools and later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she lived and worked for many years. While there, she was a faithful member of Thankful Baptist Church and served there well. After returning home, Rosetta (affectionally known as "Rose" ) relocated to Cayce, South Carolina and was employed by Lexington Medical Center. She joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Cayce, SC, under the leadership of Pastor Danny C. Swilley, where she served as President of the Jubilee Choir. Later she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church in Woodford, SC, under the leadership of her nephew Pastor Felix C. Anderson, where she served as President of the Senior Choir. As her moblity declined, she established a wonderful fellowship with Living Waters Christian Center in West Columbia, SC, in West Columbia, SC, under the leadership of her nephew, Pastor De'Angelo Cokley. Rosetta was married to the late William H. Hydrick. She was the proud mother of two sons, Rufus C. Anderson, who preceded her in death, and Felonis Anderson who currently resides in Cayce, SC. She was also preceded in death by the following siblings: Mary, Benny, James, Josephine, Lizza, Anna, Harold, Thelma and Frank. In addition to her son Felonis, her memory will be cherished by Michael Hill and Michelle Hill of the home; one brother, Joseph Anderson, Jr., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Mrs. Pricilla Hunt. Its with great sorrow that we depart from her now, but we are truly grateful to have been blessed with her presence in our lives. The family will be planning a memorial services for a later time to pay tribute and share fond memories of our dear "Rose"
