Rosa Mae Oliver

Mrs. Rosa Mae Oliver, 96, of West Columbia, South Carolina will be on December 23, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Turner Memorial AME Church 1122 Monticello Street West Columbia, South Carolina with burial in the Double Branch Cemetery West Columbia, South Carolina. There will be a viewing Friday, from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Mrs. Oliver will be lying in-state at the church from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Saturday. Born in Gilbert, South Carolina the daughter of the late Fred William Taylor and Emma Hall Taylor on July 19, 1927. She was a member of the Turner Memorial AME Church for many years. She is survived and cherish by her loving family. Her daughters, Sylvia (Robert) Day, Karen (James) Brown, Juanita ( Victor) Johnson, Rosa Lee (Calvin) Shivers, one son, Dennis Oliver, and twelve grandchildren, Randall, Christopher, April, Latonya, Janis, Juan, Jared, Jordan, Tewonda, Shneek, Capri and Stacy, and fourteen greatgrandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
