Memorial Service for Mr. Roosevelt Anthony Reaves, Sr. 66, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 1:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina, Born in Gadsden, South Carolina the son of Roosevelt Jones, Jr. and Joan Sylvia Reaves on June 22, 1956. He was a member of the Antioch AME Zion Church in Eastover, SC, and was employed with the Sunbird Boat Company as a boat builder for many years. Mr. Reaves was once married to Mrs. Rosalind W. Reaves for many years, and always stayed good friends. Surviving are his loving children Roosevelt A. Reaves, Jr., and Rochelle A. Reaves, and Witney Reaves all of Columbia, SC, and Zena Jacobs of Hopkins, SC, and Isiah Reaves of Eastover, SC, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
