Service for Mrs. Phyllis Martin Brown, 65, of Hephzibah, Georgia will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 10:00 am New Ebenezer Baptist Church 1236 Gregg St. Columbia, South Carolina , burial in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery 4170 Percival Rd. Columbia, South Carolina, There will be a viewing on Monday, from 1:00 to 6:00 at Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. PHYLLIS MARTIN BROWN, was born in Columbia, South Carolina on February 27, 1960, the daughter of the late Willie Lee Martin and Lorene Martin. She attended the Columbia Public School System where she graduated in 1978. She later enlisted in the United States Army where she served for eight years. She meet the love of her life and married Calvin Eugene Brown on November 24, 1982, and from this union, two daughters were born Qjana Nicole and Kelsi Monique. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Sherrie Jones, and Rosa Lee Boughknight and Ella Burkett and two brothers, Donald Martin and Willie B. Martin. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 43 years. Calvin Brown, two daughters: Qiana Nicole Shaw (Tommy) and Kelsi Monique Brown, four sisters, Patricia Pickins of Columbia, SC; Treneace (Lorenzo) Hearns of Augusta, GA. Fealicia Cradle of Columbia, SC; brother, John Brooks of Columbia, SC; Ronnie Martin of Columbia, SC; Leon Matthews of Columbia, SC; two grandsons, Myciah Wilkins and Taijvey Wilkins, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and other family and friends.
