Services for Mr. Nathan David Gardner, 78, of West Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Friday September 2, 2022 at 11:00 am graveside at the St. James Baptist Church Cemetery 2900 Princeton Road West Columbia, South Carolina. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 1:00 to 7;00 pm and a wake from 5:00 to 7:00 at Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Gardner was born on January 9, 1944 to the late Mr. Nathaniel Gardner and Mrs. Louella King Gardner. He was a member of Turner Memorial A.M.E.Church on 1122 Monticello Street West Columbia, South Carolina, and he was a self employed Carpenter all his life. Mr. Gardner had a great passion for gardening at his home, in which he would share his garden with everyone he knew. He is survived and cherish by his loving wife, Mrs. Bessie Matthews Gardner of the home and one son Regenald Allen Gardner of West Columbia, SC, and a grandson/son William Demontray Alan of West Columbia, SC, and two daughters, Bridgette Lafaye Garner of West Columbia, SC, and Angela (Tyronne) Thomas of Columbia, SC, two grandchildren Regenald Gardner of West Columbia, SC, and Chelsea Garner of West Columbia, SC, and ten great grandchildren, Tra'Liyah, William II, Kennedi, Isa'Bella, Karmen, Jaiden, Kaisen, Karisma, Tre'Davious and Treasure and one sister, Ruby (Sister) Ziegler of Columbia, SC. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
