Funeral services for Mrs. Mozelle V. Isaac Parker 94, of Columbia, SC Will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Pearson's Funeral home-Chapel 4508 North Main Street Columbia, SC with burial to follow later at the Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC; viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 pm to 6;00 pm in the Pearson's Funeral Home. Born in Columbia, SC the daughter of the late Willie and Henrietta Isaac on July 1, 1925. She was educated in the public schools of Richland County, Columbia, SC and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She later matriculated into Allen University and Howard University where she furthered her education. She was employed in various occupations during her lifetime include being the first African American Stenographer for Western Union. She also worked for the Pentagon and Allen University. She was a member of several social clubs. She enjoyed getting together with friends and fellowship and to have a good time. She was a avid lover of Jazz. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John Parker and her son's, Samuel Leroy Threets and Ira Cooke, and all of her siblings. Those left to cherish and have found memories are a host of friends and acquaintances.
