 Service for Mrs. Minnie Lee Blocker, 90, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 12:30 pm Clement Road Church of God 3701 Clement Rd. Columbia, South Carolina, Viewing will be held on Thursday, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina, burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park 845 Leesburg Rd. Columbia, South Carolina.Mrs. Blocker will lie-in state Friday from 11:30 to 12:30 at the church before the service. Born in Columbia, South Carolina the daughter of the late Frank Adams and Leanna Benson on September 30, 1934. Mrs. Blocker was a Lab Technician for Honeywell Corporation, until she retired. And a long time member of the Clement Road Church of God. She is survived and cherished by her children, Jesse (Monteen) Blocker Jr. Irmo, SC;, Reginald (Angela) Blocker Sr. Elgin, SC; daughters, Saundra Carr of Columbia, SC; Jacquelin Salters of Mt. Vernon, NY; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, one brother, Lenord Chitty of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Margie Holt of Atlanta, Ga; Lillian Chitty of Lake City, Ga; Carolyn (Marvin) Corbett of College Park, Ga; Lorraine (Lonnie) Stewart of College Park, Ga; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. The funeral will be live on from the church on, face book and you tube.
