Services for Mrs. Mary Lee Geiger 89, of West Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Saturday,  December 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Piney Grove AME Church Cemetery 2425 Fish Hatchery Road Gaston, South Carolina, There will be a viewing on Friday, from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. She was born in Lexington County, the daughter of the late Mary Smalls and Sam Brown on May 09, 1933. She left this earthly life to be with the Lord on November 25, 2022. She was a house keeper. She was a mother, grand mother, great grandmother. She loved planting flowers, She never minded wanting to help others. She loved to cook and was a loving mother to all who needed mothering. She worked with her daughter at Barnes And Noble. and enjoyed feeding the community . She always hosted family gathering in her early years. She loved  to make you laugh while talking junk at the same time. She loved gardening and would not let you mess her garden up. Her favorite saying was " I 'ma tear it up ! " Mary Lee Geiger was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Smalls and Sam Brown; husband , Johnson Geiger; daughter Annie Ruth Geiger; son Timothy Brown; and daughter in-law Rose Mary Brown; brothers, Willie B. Davis, and Essie May Davis, Bunion Brown, and Eddie Lee Brown, and son in-laws Willie Muller, and Willie Riley and Aunt Sarah Brown Her daughter, Sona Geiger. She is survived by her loving children, Julia Muller of West Columbia; John Wesley ( Sherrie Lee Geiger) of Gaston, Annie Lee Scipio ( Forest Scipio) of Gaston; Mary Jane Geiger of West Columbia, Willie Geiger Jr., of Gaston; Anthony Geiger of Lexington; Marie McGee (Larry McGee) of Gaston; Marie Riley of West Columbia; Sandra Geiger of West Columbia; Linda Tollen (Anthony Tollen) of Florence, SC. A brother in-law Allen Geiger, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
