Service for Ms. Lydia Katrice Dreher, 62, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on January, 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Shinning Light Apostolic Church 1409 Beech Street Cayce, South Carolina , there will be a viewing on Saturday, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Lydia was educated in the public-school system where she graduated from C.A. Johnson High School Class of 1979. She later attended classes at Rutledge College where she graduated with an associate's Degree. Lydia pursed a career in Culinary Arts where she developed a number of skills, but had a passion for loving and caring for others. Lydia is described by her family and friends as the life of the party. She loved to laugh, love, and crack jokes. With her bubbly affect and positive outlook on life, she helped others through their struggles. Lydia was very family oriented and always making sure others around her are taking care of themselves. She love to dance , sing, and smile to the musical styling of Prince, Michael Jackson and others. To know Lydia is to know she is always ready to eat. Her personality is guaranteed to always bring a smile to everyone's face. Born in Columbia, South Carolina the daughter of Mrs. Betty Ann Smith and the late Samuel T. Dreher on September 23, 1962. Ms. Dreher is survived by her daughters, Delicia (Andre) Heatley, Crystal Dreher and Ron'e Dreher - Coe all of Columbia, SC; and one son Anthony Dupree of Columbia, SC; brothers, Johnathan Bostick, Terrance Bostick, Clearance Bostick, John Bostick, Jason Bostick all of Columbia, SC; sisters, Valerie Jones, Elaine General, Celeste Huff, Tina Bostick, Nyvee Dreher, Harriett Davis and Sheryl Brand all of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. And a host of Nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
