Funeral services for Evangelist  Luvenia Washington West 82, of 2817 Tree Street Cayce, SC, will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 noon at Calvary Holiness Church of God 1534 Middle Street Cayce, SC; with the burial to follow at Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home Cemetery 138 Corley Mill Road Lexington, SC. Evangelist Luvenia West was born on July 28 1938, to the parents of the late Isiah Washington and Eartha Seawright Washington. Her husband Bobby Fletcher West, son Karl West Sr., two sisters, Rebecca Nelson, and Lumelia Rowe, and a aunt Vernelle Seawright Wingfield preceded her in death. She was a member of Calvary Holiness Church of God. She retired from Cayce, City Hall and Jenny Lynn Assisted Living. She loved to sang and praise God. She was a God sent to so many people She always had an uplifting Spirit and Prophetic Word of Wisdom. If you were sick she prayed a prayer of healing. If you wanted to talk, she listened. She believed in the power of prayer. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter Judy (Reggie) Hall, son Bobby Nathaniel West, two sisters, Sue Richardson (Henry), Ruby (George) Summers, sister-in-laws Janie Ruth West, and Brenda Ballard, brother-in-law George "Pete" (Susie) West, four grandchildren Tim, Jonathan "JC" (Amy), Ankara and Karl, Jr. (Tierra), and a host of great grands, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends.
