Lucinda Grant Cope

Service for Mrs. Lucinda Grant Cope, 84, of Cayce, South Carolina  will be held on Thursday, 2:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina, with burial to follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens 3111 Delree St. West Columbia, South Carolina. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday from 12:00 to 7:00 pm at Pearson's Funeral  Home. She was born the daughter of the late Eugene Grant and Agnus Irons Grant on April 1, 1938. Mrs. Cope was a member of the Allen AMEC in New York and later joined the Temple of God in Cayce, SC. She was a Office Manager of Social Security Commissions in New York until she retired. Surviving her niece, Suzette (Gary) Maxwell of Columbia, SC, and Aunt, Mrs. Elmonia (James) Grant and Shirley Freeman Davis all of Columbia, SC. And a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
