Graveside Services for Mrs. Lorene Martin 92, of Columbia, SC; will be held on Saturday October 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Serenity Memorial Gardens Columbia, SC; Viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, SC, Born in Saluda South Carolina the daughter of the late, Mango Abney and Gertrude Thomas on October 14 1927. She was a member of the New Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Mother of the Church and president of the Pastor Aid Committee She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Pickins "Tommy" of Columbia, SC; Ella Burkett "Larry" Columbia, SC; Phyllis Brown 'Calvin" of Augusta, Ga; Treneace Hearns "Lorenzo" of Augusta, Ga; Fealicia Cradle of Columbia, SC and Rosa Lee Boughknight of Columbia, SC two sons, John Brooks of Columbia, SC and Willie Martin of Columbia, SC. sixteen grandchildren and thirty one great grands and three great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
