Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Hayward Williams, 49, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm at Pearson's Funeral Home. Born in Richland County the son of Andrena Jackson and the late Hayward Williams on November 20, 1971. He was a graduate of C A Johnson High School. . He was formerly employed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, South Carolina Department of Mental Health, United States Postal Services, Swift Huddle House, Southeastern Concrete, Zesto's, and Allied Security. He was a boxer, a caretaker, a cook, a nail technician/owner of Hayward Place, and the family photographer. He was preceded by his brother, Quinton Williams; his aunt, Joyce Demary; and his uncles, Stanley Jackson, Wayne Jackson, and Cleveland Jackson. Precious memories and special moments will be forever cherish by his Wife, Mary Draft Williams of the home, and one son Melvin Henry of Columbia, SC; and two daughters Makayla Williams of Columbia, SC; and Kennetha Hampton, of Charlotte, NC; his mother: Andrena Jackson Williams of Columbia, SC; his siblings: Tevera Simmons of Charlotte, NC; Antwoine Williams of Orangeburg, SC; Tasha Williams of Columbia, SC;Corey (Laura) Williams of Columbia, SC; his aunts: Hazel Samuels of Columbia, SC; Florist (William) Bowman of Columbia, SC; Antoinette Lyles of Baltimore, MD; Valerie Lyles of Baltimore, MD; his uncles Pastor Lonnie (Kathleen) Jackson; his grandson: Preston Belton; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
