A Memorial Service will be held in the honor of Mrs. Katherine Gainous, on Saturday, January 28, 2023, 12:00 noon at Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. A viewing will  be held at the same location on Friday, January 27, from 1:00 pm: to 6:00 pm . Katherine Gainous, 97, of West Columbia, South Carolina, sadly left us on January 24, 2023, following a brief illness. She is survived by her daughter  Doris F. Jones (Thomas Sr.), grandchildren Rhonda Blackmon, Tina Jones (Carmelita), Hazel Jones, Thomas Jones Jr. (Stephanie), Cilenta Weston (Albert), Tara Jones and Craig Jones. Great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 and has been entrusted to The Richardson Group, Funeral & Cremations Inc., 2619 S.
