Joulia Elizabeth Staley

Service for Mrs. Joulia Elizabeth Staley, 96, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Monday, May-13-2024, 12:00 noon at  the Heyward AME Church 983 Old State Road  Gaston, South Carolina,  with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Staley will lie-instate at the church on Monday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. There will be a viewing on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. She was born in Lexington County the daughter of the late Luke Williams and Maggie Johnson on July 2, 1927. Mrs. Staley was a long time member of the Heyward AME Church. She is survived and cherish by her loving daughters, Charlotte Friend of Columbia, SC; Sarah Stewart of Philadelphia, PA;  Barbara Addison of Irmo, SC; Annie (Joe) Lykes of Columbia, SC; Mary Jefferson of Columbia, SC; Shirley Redd of West Columbia, SC; and one sister, Essie Mae Williams of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. And  other relatives and friends.
