Services for Mr. John Edward Young, 56, of Gaston, South Carolina will be held on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, SC. .Mr. Young was born in Lexington County to Mrs. Lourine Young Mickins Mr. Young was a graduate from Brookland Cayce High School in Cayce, South Carolina. He was a retired US Army Veteran for over twenty some years. Mr. Young is survived by his daughter, Jazmon Young of Charleston, SC, and three sisters, Maria Young of Texas, and Tina Reed of Columbia, SC, and Verneice Thomas of Pennsylvania, and two brothers, Tony Young of Columbia, SC, and Vernon Bowie of Vermont, and one grandchild Jonn Gethers of Charleston, SC, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
