Service for Mr. Herbert W. Reed , 72, of Gaston, South Carolina will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina with burial at Double Branch Cemetery West Columbia, South Carolina. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Pearson' Funeral Home.  He was born in Richland  County the son of the late Leo Cunningham and Julia Reed on March 04, 1954. He was a self employed Brick Mason and a Certified Welder for C.M.C. Steele Company for many years. He is survived and cherish by his family daughters, Keshia Reed of Florence, SC: Ciara (Jared)  Brooks brother, Markus Geiger of Columbia, SC; brothers, Leo Reed and Wilbert Reed both of Cayce, SC; sisters, Carolyn Reed of Cayce, SC; Geneva Reed Gaston, SC; Janice Reed of Cayce, SC; Jacqueline (Jerome) Belton Gaston, SC; and seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
