Geraldine Spencer Davis

Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Spencer Davis, 86, of Lexington, South Carolina will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm Graveside at New Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church 103 Cromer Road, Lexington, South Carolina. There will be a public viewing on Friday from 1:00 TO 6;00 pm at Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Mrs, Davis may be viewed at the Church from 12:00 to 2:00 on Saturday. She was born on November 26, 1935, in Raleigh, North Carolina, the daughter of the late William Spencer Sr. and Sadie Hill Spencer. She was a beloved member of the New Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Lexington, South Carolina, for over fifty years and held many positions in the church.She was preceded in death by her late husband, Edward Davis, as well  as her children, Randy Spencer,  Harvey Davis, Margaret Davis Green, Cynthia Davis, Pamela Jones, Vicky Summers, and her five siblings. Surviving to cherish her memories are her sons, Edward Davis (Wendy), Vincent Davis (Michelle), and Ervin Davis all of Lexington, SC; and twenty eight grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren: a long time friend Willie Stroman; one lifelong dear and loving friend, Mrs. Sharon Crumpton, and her two sons Geraldine also called her own,  Andy Marchant (Rhonda) of Lexington, SC; and Will Marchant  of North Carolina. and a Goddaughter, Phyllis Freeman of Houston, Texas. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
