GRAVESIDE SERVICES for Mr. Frison Emery Benn, 80, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm April 11, 2021 at the St. Peters Baptist Church 7910 Broad River Road Irmo, South Carolina, There will be a viewing on Saturday from 12;00 to 7;00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Born in Coatesville, Pa. on August 16, 1940 to the late James and Elisabeth Pearson Benn. He was a member of the Brookland Baptist Church for forty years, and on the Men's Choir and the Usher Board. He was employed with the U.P.S. Postal Service. He went to school at the Coatesville High School in Coatesville, Pennsylvenia. He leaves to cherish his wife, Shirley Elizabeth Benn of the home, and four sons, Emery (Moneek) Benn of Columbia, SC; Isaac (April) Benn of Lexington, SC; Keith Benn of Cayce, SC; James (Felicia) Benn of Columbia, SC; and eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one brother Donald Benn of Coatesville, Pa. and two sister in-laws Edith Benn and Deloris Benn both of Coatesville, Pa. and a host of other relatives and friends.
