Funeral services for Deacon Eugene Anderson, Jr. 80, of 1352 Pine Street West Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Friday May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at  Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church 501 Church Street West Columbia, South Carolina. With burial to follow at the Platt Springs Baptist Church Cemetery 3000 Princeton Road West Columbia, SC; there will be a viewing on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, SC; Deacon Anderson was born on November 19, 1941 to the late Eugene Anderson, Sr. and Everleaner Foster Anderson.  The family of Mr. Anderson will be meeting at 1355 Pine Street. West Columbia, SC;  He was a lifetime member of the South Congaree Community.  He was a Life time member of the Platt Springs Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of the Board of Deacons until his health declined. He was the past Worshipful Master of the Golden Square Lodge # 283. He was a licensed and certified brick mason being the owner and operator of Anderson Brick, Block, and Remodeling. He is loved and cherish by his wife and caregiver, Deacon. Lorine Scipio Anderson of the home, and five daughters, Natalie (James) Minor Sr., Rhonda Anderson-Byrd, Sonya Anderson-Thurmond, Rev. Cheryl (Robert) Moses and Carmen (Reno) Brock. Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a host of a nieces,nephews,and other relatives, church family, and friends all who love and will miss him. Deacon Anderson was preceded by his daughter, Billie Darlene Anderson and his sister, Mary Louise Parker.
