Service for Ms. Ellen Ruby Suber, 86, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 12:00 noon in the Haskell Heights First Baptist Church 1231 Blue Ridge Terrace Columbia, South Carolina with burial in the Memorial Gardens Of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Blvd. Columbia, South Carolina. Viewing will be held on Monday, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina, Ms. Suber will lye in-state on Tuesday 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the church. Born in New York City the daughter of the late General Harold Suber and Ruby Milligan, May 17, 1939. She was a teacher in New York, and was a member of Haskell Heights First Baptist Church for many years, and served on Child Evangelism Fellowship Bible Club at the Forest Heights Elementary School and as a Christian Education Consultant, she was also was a part of Women's Ministry planning committee and also a faithful member of the Senior Ministry's coordinating committee for senior activities. She is survived by her Brothers, Marvin Harmon, Benjamin Suber and sisters, Charleen Reynolds, Sandra Goodley and Ethel Evans, and Carl Bradley (bonus Son) and Dana Cadena god daughter, and nieces, nephews, and aunts, uncles and cousins, and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
