Diane Furtick

Service for Ms. Diane Furtick, 64, of Gaston, South Carolina will be held on Saturday May 30, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the New Life Baptist Church 2316 Julius Felder Street Cayce, South Carolina, burial will be at Greater St. Paul AME Church 662 Old Wire Road West Columbia, South Carolina. Ms. Furtick will be lye in state at the church one hour before service, and  viewing will be held on Friday, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Diane Furtick, age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother family member, friend, and a faithful woman of God whose life reflected her strong faith, kindness, and love for others. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply and loved beyond measure. Diane served her community through her employment with Sodexo for over 15 years in the cafeterias of Lexington School District Two. She was a devoted Carolina Panthers fan and enjoyed spending time watching sports with her family. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, unwavering faith, and her ability to make everyone feel loved, welcomed, and valued. Through her earthly journey has ended, her love and faith live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Mae Furtick and Pink Furtick; her sister Peggy Lee Saxby; her nephew, Sentel Jackson and Amirlyo "Chucky" Furtick; and her niece Crystal Young. She is survived by her sons, Nova Lee Foster III (Kelly) of Pelion, SC; Alexander (Cassandra) Furtick of Gaston, SC; ten grandchildren, Alexander Furtick, Jr. Marleigh Harris, Curey Harris, Zharia Furtick, Aaliyah Furtick, Jayden Foster, Shania Toole, Kobe Foster, Nyasia Foster, Baby Diane and Sanovic Parnell. Two sisters, Sylvia Furtick of Columbia, SC; Marie Young of Cayce, SC; and a brother, Rodney Furtick of Columbia, SC; and a host of love frome the Williams Family; The Foster Family; of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family and friends.
