Corine Jenkins Muller

Graveside services for Mrs. Corine "Sister" Jenkins Muller, 99, will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Mt. Pisgah  AME Church cemetery on Fish Hatchery Road West Columbia, SC. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 2:30 to 7:00 pm at Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, SC. Corine, affectionately known as 'Sister', a longtime resident of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Born in Cayce, South Carolina on Thursday, September 21, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Bristol and Minnie Glenn Jenkins of Cayce, South Carolina and the granddaughter of Mitchell and Lizzie Glenn. Corine graduated from Lakeview High School, where she was named Valedictorian of her class. She was a lifelong member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Cayce, where she was a faithful member of the Missionary Society, Pastor's Aid Club, the Jubilee Choir as well as a Sunday school teacher. Serving God through her Church attendance was very important to her and she would attend nearly every Sunday when she was not required to be at work. She leaves a legacy of love, faith, and precious memories to her devoted son John Edward (Brenda) Muller; and daughter Debbie Lynn Muller, and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister Evelyn Smith of NYC, NY; brothers, Edward V. (Glenda) Jenkins, Spartanburg, SC and Andrew (Michele) Jenkins, Sr, Jacksonville, FL; sister in laws Hattie E. Kinley and Mamie W. Muller, West Columbia, SC, and many other relatives and friends.
