Graveside services for Mr. Charles Alex Jackson 70, of West Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Heyward A M E Church 983 Old State Road Gaston, South Carolina. There will be a viewing on Monday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Born in Lexington County the son of the late Samuel L. Jackson and Hattie B. Young on July 27, 1951. He was a member of the Heyward A M E Church and was employed with Prisma Health Richland. He is survived by his one daughter, Ms. Tera Gillings of West Columbia, SC; and one son Charles Eric Jackson of West Columbia, SC; and three grandchildren, four sisters,  and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
