Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lee "Bett" Corbett 78, of 169 Brookland Circle Columbia, SC will be held on Saturday Jaune 27, 2020 at 12:00 noon in the Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, SC with burial in the Gospel Temple Baptist Church Cemetery in Neeses, SC Born November 25, 1941 the daughter of the late Marie and Leroy Raymond Corbett. She was educated in the Public Schools and attended Booker T. Washington High School. Bett worked various Jobs throughout her young life. She worked as a nurse for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health at the State Hospital in Columbia, SC. She also worked as a substitute teacher for Richland School District One at Heyward Career and Technical Centerand taught at Dudley School of Cosmetology for a short time. She was the cherish wife of Vance Davis; Loving and devoted mother of Dennis Medlock, and William Darnell Medlock both of Columbia, SC, and Lisa Medlock-Edwards of Clarksburg, MD; adored grandmother, of Nicole Thompson, Denise Anderson, Latoya Anderson, Melissa Thompson, Crystal Thompson, Cortney Thompson, Sierra Anderson, Tyrone Livingston Jr., Geremy Medlock, Leatrice Reynolds, Leanard Medlock, Jazmin Thompson, Dennis Williams and Niashia Hunter all of Columbia, SCMeosha Davenport of Saluda, SC, Kareem Medlock and KenyaMedlock of Bronx, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
