Funeral Services for Mr. Benjamin Augusta Robinson  75, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Saturday August 27, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church 1804 Wilkinson Street Cayce, South Carolina. Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens of Columbia,  9301 Wilson Blvd Columbia, South Carolina. There will be a viewing on Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina Mr. Robinson was the son of the late Mr. Samuel Willie Robinson and Mrs. Ora Mae Taylor on April 1. 1947. He was educated at Lakeview High School in Lexington County and retired from the Waste Management Company as a truck driver. Mr. Robinson was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Cayce, South Carolina for many years.  He is preceded by his parents, Mr. Samuel Willie Robinson and Mrs. Ora Mae Taylor Robinson White and one son, Demetrius Andrae Robinson, and his brother, James Robinson. He is survived by and cherished by his loving wife, Minnie Hiller Robinson of the home, and one son, Benjamin Augusta Robinson II of Augusta, Ga., one daughter, April Anita Robinson of Los Angeles, California., and two grandchildren, Benjamin Robinson III of Chesapeake, Va., and Elijah H. Brooks of Kannapolis, NC., two brothers, Samuel Robinson of Cayce, S.C., and Willie Robinson of Washington, State. and six sisters, Sarah Robinson Patterson of Columbia, S.C., and Jewel Loretta Smith (Kenny) Hopkins of Cayce, S.C., and Val-Lee Marks Madison Pittsburgh, Pa., and Johnnie Mae Marks (Van) Watson of Columbia, S.C., and Sherry Marks Pearson of Columbia, S.C., and Audrey Marks Fleming of Columbia, S.C., and one brother in-law Robert (Rose) Miller and four sister in-laws Laura Kinard,  and Mary Aull, and Dorothy Brown all  of Newberry, S.C., and Alice Robinson of Columbia, S.C., and one God son Jimmy (Patricia) Way of West Columbia, S.C. And his aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins and friends, and all of them were so special to him.
