Memorial services for Barbara Jean Adams Jackson, 68, will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 12;00 noon in the Pearson's Funeral Home-Chapel 4508 N Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. Mrs. Jackson was born in Columbia, SC; to Leon and Farilee Wilson-Adams. She was raised up in Gaston, South Carolina. She attended school in Lexington District # 2 where she graduated from Airport High School of West Columbia, SC: She also attended Columbia Commerical College of Columbia, SC; She and Larry M. Jackson were married on September 25, 1971 at Platt Springs Baptist Church. They celebrated 50 years of marriage this year. She was preceded by her parents, and siblings, Dennis, Alford and Marvin Dean. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Larry Jackson of the home, one son Marscel Antonio of Virginia Beach, VA., one daughter, Crystal Rochelle Hurst (Shawn) of Virginia Beach, VA., and two granddaughters, Isabelle and Gabrielle Jackson, and grands, Shawn Brenden 111, Christopher Lee, Bryauna, and Crystal Rochelle Hurst. Siblings, Shirley Ann Adams J. Lewis (Jerry) of Gaston, SC; Eugene Alonzo Adams (Cynthia) of Virginia Beach, VA. Verta Lee Adams of West Columbia, SC; and Alvin Francis Adams of West Columbia, SC; brother in-laws, Bernard Jackson of NC; Johnny Jackson of Gaston, SC, Bruce Jackson of Gaston, SC; sister-law Lorraine Jackson (Timmy) of Columbia, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
