Funeral services for Mr. Antonio Ford Sutton, 38, of Columbia, South Carolina will be held on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Kingdon Vision Church 1701 Alta Vista Drive Columbia, South Carolina with burial to follow at the St. James Baptist Church Cemetery 1131 Blue Johnson Road Hopkins, South Carolina. There will be a viewing Monday from 12:00 to 7:00 pm at the Pearson's Funeral Home. Born in Richland County on August 1, 1983. He was the biological son of Phillip Nelson and the late Catherine Moody . And his adopted parents are Samuel Sutton and Shirley Reese Sutton. He departedhis earthly home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Antonio grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. He was  graduate of Spring Valley High School.  He attended and worked at  Babcock Day Center. Antonio was preceded in death by his biological mother, Catherine Moody and brother Benjamin Gripper.. Antonio was affectionately known by his friends and loved ones as "YoYo' and he leaves to cherish loving memories his son Jeremiah Anderson of Columbia, SC; his biological father, Phillip Nelson, his adopted parents, Samuel (Shirley) Sutton five brothers, Sammie Sutton, Jr., Phillip Moody, Moses Ford, Jr., Allen Mitchell and Vincent Nelson all of Columbia, SC; and seven sisters, LaVerne Sutton, of Columbia, SC; Anita (Kenneth) Grandberry of Memphis, Tenn; Sonja Sutton, of Blythewood, SC; Martha Taylor of Columbia, SC; Catherine Denise Moody, of Camden, SC; Claudette  Moody and and Diamond Diggs of Columbia, SC; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
