Annie Ruth Dowdy

Services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Dowdy, 92, will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Mt. Pisgah  A.M.E. Church 126 Dixianna Road West Columbia, South Carolina, with burial to follow in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery 4170 Percival Road Columbia, South Carolina. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 12:00 to 7:00 pm in the Pearson's Funeral Home 4508 N. Main Street Columbia, South Carolina. She was born on April 08, 1929 to the late Booker T. Muller Sr., and Corrie Lee Mack. Mrs. Dowdy was a long time member of the Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. in West Columbia, South Carolina. and was employed as a Nurse Administrative in here early years.She was the owner of the Dowdy Community Care Homes. She was cherish and loved by her husband, Mr. Frank Dowdy of the home, and six sons, Harold Dowdy, Tommy "Tony" Dowdy, James E. Dowdy, Frank R. Dowdy, Tracy M. Dowdy and Aaron "Brian" Dowdy all of Columbia, SC; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, and two brothers, Henry Moses Muller of West Columbia, SC; and Willie B. Muller of Cayce, SC; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
